About Danielle and the creation of Starrmie's Sanctum

Hi, my name is Danielle and I am the face behind Starrmie's Sanctum. I have always been into spirituality, however lost my way in my teenage years. In early adulthood, I found my way back and have been practicing my craft ever since.

Starrmie's Sanctum was born during a journey of IVF, and the need to carry with me a way of self soothing. I wanted to find the perfect piece of jewellery that I could use during the difficult days and long periods of waiting to see what would come. I needed something physical to hold onto, a reminder that I needed to stay patient and trust what the universe had in store for me. I am naturally not very patient, and feel the need to control the situations around me.

During my journey, I discovered that sitting and meditating, focusing on the present was the best way for me to feel grounded within my current situation. I wanted a way to take this feeling with me when I was unable to practice at home. This led to my first ever spell jar necklace, which I wore daily. This necklace came with me to all of my appointments, out with friends who were celebrating their childrens milestones, to work events where I was keeping my journey private. The necklace gave me a tactile reminder that I only needed to touch to return to my calm, grounded place during difficult times.
